Mackay Harbour Road

Besides all the hikes and beaches, we did spend time just relaxing at my parents' house. The kids played in "their" bedroom, they learned how to play Trouble and enjoyed that game, the read books with Grandpa, Grandma taught Joshua how to play freecell and solitaire on the computer, and the kids watched a lot of cartoons on PBS kid. Their favorite show is The Wild Kratts. It's about two brothers who know all about different animals and their creature powers. The brothers find the animals in their natural habitats, teach you a little about them, then put on their creature power disks and morph into the animal so they can experience their powers and solve some sort of problem, usually involving rescuing the animal from one of the show's villains. Its a really good show. Almost makes me wish we had TV at home.  On the first Sunday we attended my parents' branch. They meet in a large log home with maybe 10 other people or so, additionally 3 people call in from another island to attend church via the phone, and have a church together. It is such a small branch and in such an unusual setting, but it was fun. The kids enjoyed being in primary with just three other children and Lukas, Kaleb, and I had "nursery" up in the "tower."
