Pumpkin Carving and Halloween Night

Here are some of my favorite photos from yesterday (carving our pumpkin) and today (Halloween). This was Lukas' first Halloween and I think he enjoyed himself. After he got home and dumped out all his candy (and having eaten probably 10 pieces already) he started spinning in circles and laughing uncontrollably. I tried to get a video but the doorbell rang and he ran to the door to hand out candy. It was hilarious. At least he fell asleep right away. The other kids took a while to come off their sugar highs. At least it's only one night out of the year. Tomorrow we start rationing the candy to make it last until Easter... just kidding.

This is a funny pic because Joshua's spoon handle is in Abigail's face and Abigail's spoon handle is in Lukas' face. It was a little too crowded (and too hot in the sun) so we moved our operation to the front driveway.

Thankfully this jack-o-lantern is still bigger than my belly.

I had them give me their "scary" faces.

The first house - Jennifer across the street. They went trick-or-treating with their Grammy because I knew I couldn't walk that far and Derek is working at the temple every Wednesday night.

All lit up!

The last house! Grammy didn't take them out as long as I would have, but that's probably a good thing. Last year we were out I think 3 hours - oh the loads of candy!!

Lukas was pretty happy with his little load though.

Then for a while the older kids got to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters that stopped by our house

my costume. This isn't a good photo. My big belly is a jack-o-lantern. I got lots of positive feedback.

Out of order photo.
