Lukie Loo turns one

I know... what a terrible nickname. But it's what I call little Lukas at least 75% of the time.

Yesterday my little baby turned one. Here are some photo highlights of his day. (We're not officially celebrating until next week so we can combine his and Abigail's birthday "parties")







We went to the Bean Museum with our friends

Lukas got to touch a live turtle...

and a live lizard...

but he knew better than to touch the live snake.

Then we had some ice cream at the BYU creamery and watched the new Heritage Halls being built up.

My original plan was to let Lukas eat a bunch of ice cream, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, so he got the cone...

and a few bites of Abigail's sherbert.

I think he was happy enough with that.
