P was a busy letter. Here is what we did.
"P" as in Peter Pan. Joshua has been talking about watching Peter Pan for this letter since March, I think. So we did.
And since we were watching Peter Pan it suddenly became necessary to read Peter Pan - and sometimes at the same time. (He was so tired. I put him to bed at 6:00pm that night)
We couldn't help but notice in the movie and the book, Captain Hook kept looking at his map (der Plan, as in a Stadtplan, although it probably should be called die Landkarte, oh well. Landkarte doesn't start with P,) so we made a few of our own. Joshua's is a Map of Neverland. Mine is a map of our apartment. And I'm not sure what Abigail was mapping out.
Then, since we had the swords from Swiss Days a couple of weeks ago (thank you Grammy and Grampy) we decided to make eye patches and become... Pirates (Piraten)!!
And last but not least, we went picknicken. I'll let you guess from which English word that German verb comes :) (and of course on our picnic we ate a lot of apples!!)

I should also mentioned the kids broke our regular DVD player so in order to watch American movies we have to watch them on the laptop, as you see here in this photo. |

Baby wasn't looking in the last photo so we had to take another. (Baby is starting to get really demanding - I hope this phase doesn't last too long) |
I am just catching up on what you have all been doing. What cute kids! I can't believe how big your baby is!! It is so sad how fast they grow. What a cutie. I need to get your contact info so you can come to Pat's next birthday party :)
