IHOP

Friday, November 16th. This was the day I wanted to have my baby. So to celebrate the last hurrah of just having three kids I took them all out to breakfast at IHOP. I told them in the morning to quickly get dressed and we were going to go to a surprise. When we got to the restaurant, Joshua said he didn't think that was a very good surprise. He said a Christmas present would be a better surprise.

I think he enjoyed his Rootie Tootie Fruity Jr. breakfast all the same. I know I enjoyed mine. ps. I didn't order the Jr.

 We NEVER go out to eat. I mean NEVER. Unless we are on vacation or it is someone's birthday and my parents or my in-laws take us out to eat. OK ok, I did take Joshua and his cousins out to eat on his birthday, but that was because I had coupons and it was way back in July.

Anyway, the kids were so good the entire time. I was surprised that there were so many people there. I told the kids they needed to be quiet because all the other people were trying to enjoy their breakfast. They were fantastic. And the other fantastic things was that they all ate ALL OF THEIR FOOD. I know my kids are good eaters - maybe too good? they get that from their mom *sigh* - but this was really something. They all had a pancake with fruit and whipped cream on top, scrambled eggs, a slice of bacon, and a sausage link. And by the time it was time to go, there was not a bite of food on the entire table. Like I said, I think Joshua enjoyed his surprise just fine. :)
